For those of you who don’t know this chubby, pasty faced douchebag, he is the husband of Brittany Murphy, the actress who appeared in the movie Clueless. She recently died from what apparently was a drug overdose.

Anyway, this assclown is reportedly broke and charging $1,000 per person to attend a memorial/"charity" event for his deceased wife, according to Us Magazine:

On Thursday, Murphy's husband Simon Monjack is hosting a launch party to celebrate the Brittany Murphy Foundation, which is dedicated to arts education for children. (Monjack claims he started the foundation with $1 million of his own money.) A source tells UsMagazine.com he is suggesting dollar amounts of $1,000 per individual and $10,000 from corporations to attend the event, which takes place at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. Says a source, "Everyone thinks it's very tacky that he is making it so much about money."

After everyone in the news world said "Are you F*****G  crazy ?" in response to this moron charging admission for a Brittany Murphy memorial, the event was canceled last night, according to TMZ:

TMZ has learned guests for the event received the following email from someone at the Brittany Murphy Foundation, "So sorry but the memorial has been canceled due to an illness in the family."
We spoke with Rabbi David Baron, who was supposed to conduct the memorial, who told us when the call came in, the person who canceled never gave a reason.

A reason??? I can tell you what the reason was. It was a stupid, greedy, disgusting display of someone trying to soak money from people in his wife’s name. This guy is supposed to be in MOURNING for god’s sake. Ugh.
