Man of the Month...
Each week we will nominate a man of particular distinction to be featured as the Mancard.com Man of the Week. To qualify for this honor, he must personify and showcase what we would consider to be a manly behavior, accomplishment, or quality of character. Yes, this gives us a pretty wide population to choose from - but everything is up for debate.

You have to hand it to Bret Michaels. I was never a Poison fan but after the incredible balls this guy has shown lately, I definitely respect him now.
After croaking out some annoying glam songs for the last three decades, Brett sticks around like a case of VD. He must be made out of steel.
First, he rides a river of alcohol, drugs and groupies through the musical deadzone known as the 80's and 90's and for some reason still remains relevant. He lands the "Rock of Love" franchise where he is basically paid to have a show and bang willing skanks to find the right woman who will be able to "Rock His World" for eternity. Or at least, for a week or two. While this is going on, he's still touring. This guy is amazing.
Then he winds up on Donald Trumps "Celebrity Apprentice" trying to score $250,000 for The Diabetes Foundation. Something he holds near and dear because he himself, is a diabetic.
Just a month prior to the finale, Michaels was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage. "He was listed in critical condition for 10 days, then released to out-patient rehabilitation. Though his rate of recovery was considered rare, he was back on his way to the show."
Back on his way to the show? Can you believe this guy? Emergency appendectomy, brain hemorrhage, stroke and then diagnosed with patent foramen ovale (hole in the heart). And he goes back on Trumps show and nails the win! What stones! This guy has got some serious guts.
Apparently, groupies possess some kind of magical power that gives rock stars super-human strength.
Congratulations Bret, Your the man!
