Revocation of the Month...
Each week we will expose a man whose deeds or character betray the principles of MEN that we hold sacred. This will be difficult for some of you to accept - very often shining the light of shame on someone we admire will cause an immediate, defensive, knee-jerk reaction.
Admittedly, I am a news junkie. I follow what’s going on in the news religiously, but I’m thinking its time to just go blissfully unaware about what’s going on around me. I logged on to CNN this morning and here are some of the headlines I saw. Mind you, this is just from one day:
3 babies found buried at Dutch home.
Death toll tops 30 in Lahore blasts.
2010 Afghanistan death toll highest.
Irish cardinal will not resign after scandals.
WikiLeaks rape case to reopen.
Rapper T.I. arrested on drug charges.
Cap on ruptured oil well to be removed.
Obama’s lame speeches.
Acid thrown in woman’s face.
Jurors seek time in sham marriage trial.
Take these headlines and couple them with endless news about that train wreck Lindsey Lohan, the morons from “The Jersey Shore” and the Kardashian clan and it’s almost to much to bare.
Are you telling me there’s not ONE good thing going on in the world on a daily basis? Nobody’s getting a cat out of a tree or doing something heroic to save another human being? It would be great if the general population wouldn’t buy into this nonsense but that’s just wishful thinking.
To all of the Media outlets, your Mancard is REVOKED.
